Location
This position is temporarily working remotely due to COVID-19 for an undetermined period. Once our offices re-open you will be based out of Sims Square located at 390 Brant Street, Burlington. This position may be eligible for a hybrid working arrangement. Work location is subject to change at the discretion of the City due to operational demands.
Position Overview
This position is responsible for providing confidential administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer and other sections of the department. Provides assistance for financial aspects of community building and development and administrative support to the corporate budget preparation and related communication/information sharing processes.

Requirements
The successful applicant will be a High School graduate, with specialized Business School training in administration and possess five (5) years administrative support, including three (3) years in a senior administrative position. Strong organizational and time management skills are also required.
The incumbent will also have familiarity with computer-based applications such as SAP, Questica, property information (e.g. AMANDA), word processing and spreadsheets. Knowledge of budget preparation is an asset.
