The Maintenance Management Clerk reports to the Supervisor of Business Services for RPF and is responsible for the input required for payroll generation, monitoring time credits and preparation of accounts payable input. This position requires a working knowledge of SAP, HRIS (Banner), Centresuite and is also responsible for input to and maintenance of the Maintenance Management System (MMS – Avantis).
The Maintenance Management Clerk:
Inputs all crew card information for department to MMS system
s, with follow up to resolve discrepancies and deficiencies with Supervisors. Must be up to date daily.
Initiates, prepares and balances attendance registers to crew cards and investigates to resolve edit errors.
Creates, maintains and terminates seasonal employee records in HRIS and MMS systems.
Liases with ITS, Human Resources and Finance Department staff to resolve errors or omissions in processing of payroll and accounts payable invoices.
Maintains department employee attendance records and overtime worked; Prepares and posts overtime equalization lists.
Processes accounts payable invoices through MMS and Pcard applications, working with Technicians, Supervisors and Managers to ensure that all required sign offs and accounting is in place.
Manage and reconcile department Pcards in Centresuite.
We are looking for a candidate with a high school diploma or equivalent with emphasis on business and accounting courses. The successful candidate will have a minimum two years experience with accounting and payroll in a computerized environment. Knowledge of Banner and Avantis, including familiarity with SAP would be considered an asset. Working as part of a dynamic team, the incumbent will possess strong attention to detail as well as excellent customer service and organizational skills. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work under time pressures.
