Position Overview
The City of Burlington is currently accepting applications for the following Adult 19+ and 55+ programs:
These positions report to the Recreation Programmer and/or the Recreation Coordinator and provide versatility in program platforms including indoor, outdoor, and virtual online programming throughout the City of Burlington locations as determined by program needs.
Positions and schedules may vary based on program registrations. Hours will be established based on program needs, and confirmed in advance with the incumbent, and may be between 1-27.5 hours weekly depending on position.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have strong instructional and teaching skills to communicate effectively with all participants. Experience using Microsoft Teams and leading online programs is considered an asset as is experience with Microsoft Office. Comfort teaching in indoor, outdoor, and virtual platforms also an asset.
Standard First Aid with CPR-C is preferred and dependent on program requirements.
Leadership skills and experience working with Adults 19 years of age and older preferred.
All staff must complete mandatory training prior to the start of program. Training is offered through a combination of online and in-person learning. Accommodations can be provided as needed.
Police Check Requirement
This position requires the successful candidate to provide a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening at their own expense.
