Location:
This position is required to work in person at Roads, Parks & Forestry including various sites across the City. Work location is subject to change at the discretion of the City due to operational demands. This position will be required to work outdoors in all range of climate conditions.
Responsibilities:
These positions are responsible for various maintenance tasks including mowing and trimming of parks and sports fields, ball diamond grooming, washroom cleaning, litter and waste collection, traffic control, horticultural bed maintenance and other activities within the department.
Subject to work group assignments, students may be required to operate a range of vehicles and maintenance equipment such as tractors, riding mowers, utility vehicles, pickup trucks, string trimmers, roto tillers, blowers and a variety of hand tools.
