Location
This position is required to work in person at various sites across the City. Work location is subject to change at the discretion of the City due to operational demands.
Position Overview
This position is responsible for visiting the various City Parking Facilities to educate and communicate with user groups, visitors and residents on City by-laws, and to support residents and visitors on-site with validating customer reservations, directing vehicles to appropriate parking areas, monitor parking lot capacity, parking enforcement and general customer service inquiries during busy park times and special events. This position primarily works days, evenings, weekends and holidays when parking facilities are busiest.

Requirements
A minimum High School Diploma is required. Enrolled in post-secondary education in Transportation, Law Enforcement or a related field is preferred. Must possess strong oral and written communication skills. Requires at least one (1) year in a demanding customer service field, as well as having experience in standard PC applications such as e-mail, spreadsheets and word processing. Experience in a Transportation, Municipal Law Enforcement is considered an asset.
A valid G Class driver’s license is required with an acceptable driver’s abstract (no more than three (3) driving related convictions and an accumulation of no more than three (3) demerit points in the previous three (3) years prior to the date of hire).
