Description
Position Overview:
This position is responsible for providing cashier services, clerical support and assisting the Supervisor of Tyandaga Golf Course.
Responsibilities:
The Golf Shop Clerk is responsible for:
- Opening and closing the Golf Shop
- Assisting with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of Golf Shop and storage areas
- Providing cashier services for retail sales and collection of green fees
- Completing Season Ticket Applications and collecting monies
- Arranging displays and attempting to maximize sales whenever possible
- Assisting with tournament activities
- Assisting with inventory and requisitioning of supplies
Requirements:
We are searching for a dynamic, professional and positive individual with demonstrated experience in the following competencies: customer service, communication, teamwork, planning and organizing, initiative and flexibility. The Golf Shop Clerk should possess basic computer skills and previous experience in the golf field is an asset. This seasonal position requires days, evenings and weekend and holiday work to meet the needs of the operation. This part-time role is expected to run up to November 2021.
